1929 Enrique Sanfeliú guitar

An ideal classical guitar for lovers of vintage guitars.

The famous luthier Enrique Sanfeliú

Enrique Sanfeliú was born in Valencia, Spain, in 1882. It was at a Francisco Tárrega concert that he fell in love with the guitar. A guitarist and luthier, he devoted his entire life to this instrument.
He first learned to play the guitar from Manuel Loscos, a disciple of Tárrega, and then took up lutherie at Juan Estruch’s workshop in Barcelona. He went on to deepen his knowledge with the renowned luthier Enrique Garcia, who became his disciple and friend. Indeed, Sanfeliú’s guitars reflect the style of the master’s later instruments. Great guitarists such as Augustín Barrios have also played with his work.

Guitar sound

Musicality worthy of Enrique Garcia

The musicality of this ancient guitar is gentle and moving, with an incomparable enveloping warmth. The sound of Sanfeliú guitars is akin to that of its master, Enrique Garcia. Indeed, Sanfeliú has proved itself worthy of the historic luthier, bringing to life magnificent instruments with their ancient, lyrical timbre.
