Guitar Salvador Sáncho 1905
An ideal classical guitar for lovers of vintage guitars.
The famous luthier Salvador Sáncho
Salvador Sáncho Soler (1874-1942) was a famous luthier from Valencia, Spain. He is said to have been apprenticed to Vicente Tatay Alabau at the age of 12.
He began making his own guitars in 1889, and shortly afterwards founded the company Salvador Sancho, S.C. He left with his brother for Argentina around 1905 and Brazil a year later. There, his businesses were so successful that a street in San Pao was named in his honor. He returned to Valencia in 1914 and opened a new workshop.
Guitar sound
The charm of the early 20th century
This early twentieth-century piece has an absolutely exceptional sound.
It has the classic sound of a master guitar: woody, dark with a vintage note. It is also lively and powerful. Its musicality is mystical, almost magical. It fills its environment with the most beautiful sounds and impresses with a breathtaking variety of timbres. Sáncho thus offers us a very noble and finely crafted instrument for the highest sonic demands.
