After living in Buenos Aires for 15 years, José Ramirez II returned to Madrid on the death of his father in 1923 to take over the business. His apprentices included Marcelino Barbero, Manuel Rodriguez and many others.

This guitar is made of spruce with cypress back and sides. The basses are full and deep, the trebles soft and singing. Its musicality is lyrical and moving.
