Renowned luthier Ricardo Sanchis Nacher
Ricardo Sanchis Nacher is Ricardo Sanchis Carpio’s grandfather. In 1915, he founded the Ricardo Sanchis workshop in Valencia. He then decided to stay in Madrid for a while to perfect his art, and befriended Manuel Ramirez and Domingo Esteso. For three years he worked for Domingo Esteso, the founder of today’s Hermanos Conde guitars. The Sanchis family has always maintained close ties with Esteso and his heirs, the Hermanos Conde.
